Not a secret: I LOVE Toni Collette. She's been my favorite actress since I saw Muriel's Wedding late one night on HBO when I was 14. She is the reason I watched Velvet Goldmine, which is one of my all-time favorite movies, and I think the movie I've watched the most out of all the movies I've ever seen. I think Toni Collette is amazing.

So, I just got done watching the first episode of United States of Tara and I adored it. ( not spoiling the show, but cutting anyway )

I am SO FREAKING EXCITED ABOUT season 3 of Skins!!!

Of course I was like most everyone else and was extremely butthurt when I found out they were going to get a new cast - except for Effy, whom I LOVE - yay for keeping her. But, now that I've watched the (NSFW) trailer :

I'm totally pumped about the new season. The bathroom scene issofuckinghot. Hello new pretty boys!! I think Naomi? - the blonde in the trailer - is going to be a lot like how I was in high school.


So, Skins related -- I saw Slumdog Millionaire tonight and it is by far one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. I don't want to say a lot about the movie so I don't spoil anyone, but the acting is superb and the music is gorgeous. The whole movie is beautifully done. If it's in your area...please go see it. It was amazing.

I am so addicted to watching the Olympics online. I've watched Swimming, Weightlifting, Badminton *loves*, and all kinds of other uber-entertaining sports. If you watch the events online you don't have to be annoyed when the CBS host guy pops into the events to talk about rivalries between some chick from France who used to date an Italian swimmer who dumped the French chick for someone else. Or something. :D


I hope everyone has an awesome week. I'm planning on doing nothing of importance except watch a crazy amount of Olympics and try not to tear up when the National Anthem is played. I'm sensitive. I will leave you with some crazy!Phelps:

Homg it's the trailer for the Dead Like Me movie. Reggie is all grown up! It kind of makes me sad that they got another person to play Daisy Adair. I don't think anyone can play the part like Laura Harris. She was perfect as Daisy. Mandy Patinkin is not going to be in the movie either, but it seems everyone else is there! I am so friggin excited to see this. I miss DLM!

Apparently it is coming to DVD sometime in 2008. *is so excited*
